Data protection at KaratAI
KaratAI only collects data necessary for the proper functioning of the service: your email address (for Google authentication), your name, and your voice transcription history. This data is securely stored on Firestore (Firebase) and is linked exclusively to your unique user account.
The audio stream captured by your microphone is transmitted in real-time to the KaratAI Proxy server, then to Grok or Gemini models for processing. KaratAI does not record your physical audio files. Only the resulting text transcription is kept in your personal history.
We use Stripe for payment processing. Your credit card details never pass through KaratAI's servers. They are processed directly by Stripe's secure infrastructure. We also use Google Cloud for database storage (Firebase).
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access and delete your data. You can view your entire session history from the KaratAI Dashboard.
Your privacy is the cornerstone of KaratAI.
